| Performance and Scalability Engineer Responsibilities: Define, design, implement and measure performance and scalability tests for different applications Identification and root cause analysis of performance bottlenecks by testing with various load and stress test scenarios Identification of needed performance and scalability requirements to build and define tests Gather, analyze and report performance/scalability data, test results, and metrics Create automated test scripts and/or code additional tests in a programming or scripting language Provide support to the development teams in the Performance and Scalability evaluation and analysis of the application processes Apply software design and architecture principals to create programs which will demonstrate the acceptability of the software Follow-up with development teams on applied fixes or solutions for bottlenecks and issues identified during test Skills and Qualifications: B.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering 3+ years of experience in Software Testing and/or Development, preferably in projects built with .Net technologies Ability to write detailed test plans and test cases Strong experience using load simulation and performance measuring tools such as Load Runner, Astra Load test or similar tools Familiarity with programming or scripting language(s) Experience with measuring and analysis of key performance indicators (CPU, network throughput, memory footprint etc) Experience with application servers, databases, and testing web applications in a testing environment Strong debugging experience with root cause analysis is a plus Experience with SQL and query optimization experience is a plus Experience using MS VSTS is a plus Fast learner, self motivated, team player Creative thinking Strong analytical skills Good communication skills | |
