| JSF Software Engineer KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - You will be mainly responsible for the development and the maintenance of existing complex GUI applications using Java Web technologies (JSF,…- as the front end and SQLServer and Oracle as the data server. - On purpose, you will be responsible for the development of reports using Crystal reports based on specifications delivered by the customers. - You will work closely with Product Manager to develop requirements specifications and design documents for implementation. - You will assess system impact and provide accurate effort required to achieve deliverables. - You will investigate application problems reported by the support team, determine cause, and provide accurate system solution. - You will participate in software releases deployment, such as integration testing or packaging. Qualifications: - 3 -5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a financial services environment; - You have a bachelor’s degree in a computer or technical related field or equivalent work experience; - Solid technical trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills; - Good communicator and team- player; - Excellent skills in the following technologies: Java, JSF, Application server (Apache Tomcat, Websphere, …). Mastering Hibernate / Cayenne is an asset. - Knowledge of Crystal Report is an asset. - Knowledge of SQLServer or Oracle environments. - Good knowledge of Windows environment. Familiar with UNIX (solaris and AIX) is an asset. - You speak fluent English (All communication is to be done in English). French is an asset. | |
